Thesis is a DJ from Raleigh, North Carolina. His sets lean toward Latin and Afro house, and he crosses into other genres when the night calls for it.

He started DJing as a teenager, but money was too tight to keep it going. He went into design instead and spent the next twenty years with dance music playing through every workday. All that listening became the library his sets draw from.

He builds each set as a journey: tracks paired so their vocals and basslines play off each other, quieter stretches that make the peaks land harder, and at least one surprise, like two genres that shouldn't mix but do.

Off the decks, he runs the design agency Dreamten and GiveForms, a donation platform for nonprofits. He's a dad of two, big on health and fitness, and an MMA fan.
